The Richmond Nature Park is joining the North American Bird Feeder Program, Project Feeder Watch, to survey birds that visit our community.
From November to April, volunteers will record the species they observe.

We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in bird watching to monitor and record the variety of species found at the outdoor bird feeding station at the Nature Park. (birding experience not required!)

When: 4 "watch days" a month. One hour minimum on each day.
The bird tracking season is November 5th to April 30.
Volunteers will have the flexibility to choose which weekend dates (Saturday's and Sunday's Only) they are available for.

Training/Orientation: Volunteers must attend a mandatory training session. Please email cchang2@richmond.ca for upcoming training sessions.

Volunteers 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
