Steveston: Swap Meet - Volunteer Sustainability Ambassador (Morning)

Volunteer Orientation: Online materials will be sent out to volunteers.

Steveston Community Centre is looking for volunteers 14 years old or older to support our Swap Meet event!

Why should you volunteer?
Put sustainability into practice with your friends in a centre-wide opportunity! Support a circular economy and build a culture of sharing and caring through this event.

Dates & Times:
7:15 AM-10:15 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2022 (3 hrs).

Roles/responsibilities
- Greet people who are entering the Community Centre.
- Assist vendors with set-up and item-handling.
- Interact with community members in a courteous manner.
- Direct vendors to the proper tables.
- Assist staff as necessary.

Neighbours Night: An event for community members to sell their gently-used items and build community!

Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years of age by October 1, 2022.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
