Information on Selected Volunteer Opportunity

Richmond Regional Heritage Fair 2019
Richmond Museum

Description

Come take a journey through history with us at Heritage Fair!

The Richmond Museum is looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist with our 17th annual Richmond Regional Heritage Fair on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.

Heritage Fair is a bilingual showcase of history projects created by Richmond students that brings together our community to discover Canada's rich culture and heritage. This two day event also offers unique, enriching activities that inspire a deeper appreciation for and curiosity about Canada's past.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working with children, would like to give back to the community and support arts, culture and heritage while having fun.

We are looking to fill over 60 positions on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11. Please sign up on the City of Richmond's volunteer page by April 7, then visit http://richmondheritagefair.blogspot.ca/volunteers.html for more information about the available volunteer roles.

Additional info: There will be a mandatory volunteer orientation session on Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 pm at the Richmond Cultural Centre.
