Salmon Festival/Canada Day Parade Roaming RAPS Ambassadors 
RAPS Richmond Animal Shelter

Description

Purpose of the position:
Spread awareness about the services RAPS offers to our community

Responsibilities and Activities:
Engage with festival attendees who have dogs & cats to inform them about the role RAPS plays in our community & the services of the not-for-profit RAPS Animal Hospital

Date/ Time of the event or activity:
Monday, July 1st. 10 am 12 pm

Site location:
Meet at the RAPS Info Booth located in the Net Shed behind the Steveston Community Centre

Working conditions:
Shift can be anywhere from 1 hour 4 hours. You will be walking through the crowds and speaking with the public who have dogs at the event.

Skills, experience, abilities required:
You should feel confident with talking to the public and have a friendly demeanor.

Personal traits/qualities desired:
Friendly and outgoing, good speaking skills

Education/ Qualifications required:
Age 16 years plus Languages:

All Additional screening required for this position: A short phone interview upon receipt of application.

Training required for this position:

A short training session will be provided by RAPS staff at the RAPS Info Booth located in the Net Shed behind Steveston Community Centre

Minimum Time Commitment expected: 1 hour
