2018 Salmon Festival - Children's Festival Coordinator 
Steveston Salmon Festival 2018

Description

The Steveston Salmon Festival Committee is looking for a Children's Festival Coordinator. We are seeking a mature, committed individual (or two if you'd like to work with a friend) to help us manage our Children's Fesitval leading up to and on July 1st.

This is a core committee position and will be part of the main festival organizing team. Responsibilities include working with the festival chairs and coordinator to determine the optimum attractions and activities for this area, providing input to the site plan and position of attractions, vendors and exhibits, and overseeing the plan and implementation of this area. You will also need to provide leadership and supervision of the volunteer team assigned to this area of the festival, ensuring the day runs smoothly.

Must be able to attend committee meetings once per month and occasional other meetings as necessary. Previous experience coordinating events of a similar scope such as elementary school carnivals would be ideal, but not required. You will have lots of support and guidance from committee members and staff, plus you'll have loads of fun!

We are looking for volunteers to assist at our Spring Car Boot Sale.
