Dates & Times:
Saturday, November 26, 2022: 3:00-5:30 PM (2.5 hrs)

Roles/responsibilities
- Assist with take-down and clean-up of food-handling in the Concession (food) area.
- Troubleshoot and ensure cleanliness and safety through the take-down of food/drink.

Requirements:
- Must dress appropriately for the weather and occasion.
- Must be comfortable lifting 10 lbs.
- Must maintain high standards of food-handling and be trusted with finances.
- Must be at least 14 years of age by October 1, 2022.
- No Police Information Check required.

Steveston Community Centre is looking for volunteers 19 years old or older to support Steveston's Fitness Classes!

Why should you volunteer?
Gain hands-on fitness experience working with patrons while facilitating safe & inclusive physical activity!

Dates & Times:
Shift time: 10:15 AM to 1:00 PM - Tuesdays in Summer (until August 31), Tuesdays & Thursdays in Fall/Winter/Spring.

Roles/responsibilities
- Assist instructor(s) with our Fitness Classes for Older Adults with Chronic Conditions
- Set up and prepare the room for class at the direction of the fitness instructor.
- Help participants follow instructions.
- Help participants stay safe while enjoying their time!

Requirements:
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
- Must be willing to develop & take feedback.
- Must be on time, prepared for the day, & dressed appropriately.
- Must be willing to support older folks and have patience.
