Description
Purpose of the position:
Assist in various event needs such as supervising family-friendly activity booths, providing support to the mainstage, event set-up and takedown, etc.
Responsibilities and Activities:
-Assist in various event needs such as supervising family-friendly activity booths
-Assist in running the inflatable corn maze
-Providing support to pumpkin carvers and roving circus performers
-Supporting event photographer
-Wayfinding and interacting with the public
-Event set-up and takedown
-Crowds control
-Candy Distribution

5:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Working conditions
-Must be able to stand and walk around for the duration of the event.
-Must be comfortable engaging with members of the public of all ages.
-This opportunity is outdoors, please dress for the weather as it will happen rain or shine.
-No sandals or open-toed shoes

Additional information about the position:
-All volunteers must attend the onsite orientation from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
-Light snacks will provide
-Volunteers are encouraged to dress up in a costume for this Halloween event. Please ensure costume is appropriate for a family-friendly event and comfortable enough to work in.

Skills, experience, abilities required: Comfortable engaging with public, comfortable in crowds, works well with a team.
Personal traits/qualities desired: Enthusiastic, positive, engaging and outgoing.
