Volunteer Orientation: There will be no orientation for this position. You will receive an email outlining your role/duties.
Steveston Community Centre is looking for volunteers 14 years old or older to support with transporting vendor items from vehicles into the venue for the Christmas Craft Fair.
This volunteer position includes light lifting, please be mindful of this before applying.
Dates & Times:
Sunday, November 16th, 2025: 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Roles/responsibilities
- Greet vendors as they arrive.
- Support with unloading their items from their vehicle and transporting them to the Net Shed to their table.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years of age by November 22, 2025.
- Dress Code: Layered and very warm - Hat, mittens, boots, socks, warm coat, warm pants, safety vest will be provided, (umbrella/rain coat depending on weather).
- Must have a high level of attention to caution as you may be walking by vehicles
- No Police Information Check required.
- Ability to lift light items.
